This is the privacy policy of Rodalo GmbH, Münchhof 51, 53797 Lohmar/Germany, registered with the commercial register at local court of  Siegburg under HRB 13092, represented by the managing director Roman Roelofsen, VAT ID: DE296185057 (hereinafter referred to as “we”/us” or “Rodalo”).

At Rodalo, your privacy is important to us and Rodalo does not sell, publish or share any information about our customers unless given express permission to do so. We developed this privacy policy to show our engagement into protecting your privacy and to opening our information and privacy practices for www.typeslide.com.

SCOPE OF DATA PROCESSING

Personal data are any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person. We as well as our external service partners process your data for the purpose of providing the Website and services: Rodalo collects information from clients who sign up with our services. When clients sign up with our services, we require a password, email address, first and last name. We use the client sign up information to authenticate users and to allow access to our service. We also use the provided email addresses to communicate with the clients. Rodalo logs cumulative user statistics and website traffic within www.typeslide.com.

Rodalo may produce, host and provide discussion forums, chat rooms, newsgroups, blogs and other public areas to the general public and its customers. Any information shared in these environments is treated as public information and each user is responsible for and should exercise caution when disclosing any personal information on such forums. Rodalo is not responsible for any action taken as a result of information presented or received in public forums, whether moderated or hosted by Rodalo or not. If you post personal information in any of our public forums, you may receive unsolicited email and communications from other parties.

INFORMATION GATHERING AND USAGE

When you register for typeslide.com we ask for information such as your name and email address. Members who switch to a paid subscription plan are required to enter a billing address and a valid credit card. Rodalo uses collected information for the following general purposes: products and services provision, billing, identification and authentication, services improvement, customer support, notifications of changes and new features, and research.

COOKIES

Rodalo uses cookies to store and track information about client use of Rodalo services. Cookies are encoded and unidentifiable blocks of data sent to your browser from a web server. Cookies are kept on your computer. Cookies are created when you register or log in or log out of Rodalo services. Cookies could hold your login data so that you can avoid entering that every time you log in to Rodalo services. We may also use cookies to collect cumulative information on the website use. We may use cookies to assess quantity of simultaneous users, total number of users, traffic volume and to understand use of our services. Your typeslide.com account information, email, password and customer profile are password-protected so that you have secure access to entering and editing personal information. It is the user’s responsibility to protect the security of their password. Access to typeslide.com services are protected by a unique email and password that is known only by you. Rodalo has designed internal security processes that encrypt customer passwords to protect it from being divulged or accessed by anyone other than you. Neither Rodalo employees nor any of its contractors can obtain or access your password. Rodalo employees nor any of its contractors will ask you for your password via mail, email or telephone nor any other unsolicited manner.

When customers and users access and use typeslide.com, there may be links to websites and services operated by third parties. Rodalo makes no representations or warranties about the policies of third party websites that are linked to Rodalo or any of its services. Rodalo recommends that you read the privacy policies posted by those third party websites.

STRIPE

We use Stripe provided by Stripe, Inc. (510 Townsend Street San Francisco, CA 94103, USA) („Stripe“) to process online payments. Your credit card or debit card information is provided directly to our third-party payment processor, Stripe, to process the payments. The payment information is transmitted directly via an encrypted connection to Stripe. According to Stripe, it uses, processes and stores your Personal Data and payment information in accordance with Stripe’s privacy policy available at stripe.com/us/privacy. To show compliance with EU data protection standards Stripe is certified according to the EU-US-Privacy-Shield (see: https://www.privacyshield.gov). We have concluded a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) with Stripe. The legal basis for our use of Stripe is Art. 6(1) Sentence 1(f) GDPR.

SECURITY

Rodalo stores its servers in a highly secure server environment with 24 X 7 monitoring, surveillance and support to prevent unauthorized access and data security. Advanced security measures including firewalls, security guards and surveillance are taken to ensure the continued service and protection of your data from natural disaster, intruders and disruptive events. We cannot guarantee the security of your data while it is being transmitted over the Internet and through servers that are out of our control. We strive to protect your personal information but Rodalo cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to our website or services. Any data transmissions you make over the internet are done so at your own risk. Once we receive the data transmission, we make our best efforts to ensure its security and privacy on our systems.

DISCLOSURE

Rodalo may disclose personally identifiable information under special circumstances, such as to comply with subpoenas or when your actions violate these Terms of Service.
